Jinan Song, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President – Mr. Song co-founded Shining in 1999 and has been the principal executive officer of the Company since March 2006. Previously, he served as the chief engineer of Sai Bao Bio-Chemical Manufacturing Corporation. He has rich experience in the study of biotechnology and in the successful commercialization of academic results. Mr. Song received his Bachelor’s Degree in Polymers from the University of Hei Long Jiang and his Master’s degree in Politics and Economics from Harbin Industrial University.
Raymond Li, Chief Financial Officer – Mr. Li has served as CFO since November 2006. He has more than 20 years of auditing and accounting experience serving multiple industries. Previously, Mr. Li served as the Financial Controller of a Hong Kong-listed company.
Henry Tai, Vice President of Corporate Development – Mr. Tai has served as VP since early 2007. He has more than 20 years of experience in direct investments, corporate finance and auditing in Australia, China, Hong Kong and the United Kingdom.
Yihong Yan, Chief Administrative Officer – Ms. Yan is the CAO (assistant to the general manager) of China-Biotics. She has served as a director since 1999. She was appointed CAO in 2004, and her term will expire in 2008. During the past five years, Ms. Yan has participated in formulating the Company’s development plans, implemented internal control procedures and represented the Company in business negotiations with relevant government authorities and other external parties.
Weida Huang, Technical Advisor – Dr. Huang co-founded Shining and is a member of the Company’s technical advisory panel responsible for product development and applications. Since 1990, he has taught at Fudan University’s School of Life Science as an instructor for doctoral students. Dr. Huang is renowned for his studies and research in life science; his research work has earned him a number of research and development awards. |
