1999 –	Shanghai Shining Biotechnology Company was founded in Shanghai.
2000 –	Shining Essence was approved by the Ministry of Health and began production. Shining Essence was recognized as a “Pioneer in China and Advanced in the World.” The company received ISO9002 certification from TÜV.
2001 –	Registered patents for “Nutrition Gas Injection Capability and Double Aluminum Packaging Machine,” “High Quality Microecologics and Microencapsulation Technology” and “Packaging for Shining Essence” through 2011. Rregistered “Shining” and “Shining Essence” trademarks. Shining Essence was recognized as a “Best Seller for Liver Protection.” The company was named one of the “Top 100 Enterprises of Healthy Products.”
2002 –	Obtained four TÜV certificates:  ISO9001, ISO14001, HACCPC and OHSA18001.
2003 –	Established the Shining Biotechnology Research Center.
2004 –	Shining Beauty Essence and Shining Essence Stomach Protection were approved by the SFDA.
2005 –	Shining Sicanel was approved by the SFDA.
2006 –	The Company completed a share exchange and began trading in the U.S. on the OTC Bulletin Board under the name China-Biotics, Inc. and ticker symbol CHBT. The Company obtained its “GMP” certificate from the SFDA and opened its first Shining retail outlet in Shanghai.
2007 –	China-Biotics opened its first two Shining retail outlets outside of Shanghai. The Company signed its first large-scale probiotics bulk additives agreement with Bright Dairy, Inc., one of the three largest ice cream manufacturers in China. Reached initial agreement with Relax Xinqiao
2008 –	China-Biotics started trading on Nasdaq Global Market, under the ticker symbol of “CHBT”.
2009 –	Received "High-Tech Enterprise" certification to qualify for preferential income tax rate.
2010 –	Qingpu facility in Shanghai began commercial production of bulk additive probiotics and received GMP approval.
